This game was made for Brackeys Game Jam 2022.1. This was my very first game jam and I'm quite proud with how much I learned. The theme was inspired by the film Paprika and so I tried to capture that feeling a bit. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it.
Tools
- Unity Engine 2020.3.28f1
- FEEL by More Mountains
- Audacity
Special shoutout to the amazing tutorials that helped me with this process.
I learned the player controller from Bardent's youtube
and Samyam's youtube for improving my knowledge all around.

This game is so much fun! The character design is very unique and cute. I loved the sound effects and the humor, and the personality you get to see. Amazing game and very creative!
Wonderful little game, great job on your first go at a jam!
Thanks!!
Amazing game and amazingly weird, really enjoyed myself, and i really love your inspiration, paprika is by far my favorite movie of all time ^^
Thank you! Happy yo hear that!
This is an amazing game, the humour, the art, the sound effects and music. everything was amazing. Had so much fun playing this game. At first I was like "Okay, this is a basic platformer. What's so special?" But then things started to get interesting with the whole level collapsing. I loved the narration too. Reminded me a lot of "The Stanley Parable" one of my favourite games of all time. Amazing game 10/10
That's so generous! Thank you so much! I'm glad it had that affect on you. Stanley Parable was definitely on my mind when setting up the scenarios.
The control feels really nice! the gameplay feel great, amazing game!
Thanks!
I absolutely love this game! It's reeealy juicy, and the movement feel very natural. I like you added a Coyote Time! The graphics are nice and the sound gives a living feeling.
And it's real fun!
Grat job. I would like to see your project if I could. I'm interested in knowing how you implemented some things, like the Coyote time and the movement.
So it wasn't too bad adding it. You really just need to create a timer that checks how long it's been since the player has left the "ground" layer and if you fit in that time window, you can jump. The sweet spot is 0.2f for the timing. I highly recommend this series - I learned a ton from it for this game. https://www.youtube.com/c/Bardent
Thank you!
Supercool feel and is an awesome platformer game, really like the way the game has been made! Quite a good fit to the game jam and really a good game to hang on. Will be looking forward to seeing more such awesome content ahead of time.
Thank you so much, I'm happy you enjoyed it! Did you submit to the jam too? I'd be happy to check it out.
No, Not this time. Will try to participate next time though.
